Welcome to FitnessFam. By creating an account or using our text-based coaching service or iOS app (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Not medical advice. FitnessFam provides general fitness and nutrition information for educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any diet or exercise program. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or 911 immediately.

Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.

Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. One account per person.

Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are offered as auto-renewing subscriptions billed through your Apple ID.
New subscriptions start with a 14-day free trial unless otherwise stated. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you'll be charged for the plan you selected.
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled by Apple.
Prices and plan features may change; we'll give notice of material changes.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Harass, abuse, impersonate, or harm other users;
Post unlawful, hateful, or infringing content in social features;
Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
Use the Service for spam or to send messages people did not ask for.

We offer blocking and reporting tools and may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

User content

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process and display it as needed to operate the Service (for example, showing your posts to friends or generating a daily summary).

Messaging

By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages related to the Service. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated estimates (including calorie and macro figures) may be inaccurate; use your judgment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FitnessFam is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
